WHY UNITY?

The Unity Project is a new approach to school and community needs, bringing five Pettisville organizations together for a common goal.

PHASE I

Phase I – Reimagines the Library, originally constructed in by PSF in 1994, to transform it into a dynamic, forward-thinking hub designed to support STEAM, inspire creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, with advanced technology, versatile workspaces, and tranquil study zones. It will provide resources for post-secondary planning, including facilitating opportunities to offset college credit costs.

PHASE II

Phase II – Constructs concession stands, restrooms and storage areas at all outdoor athletic fields improving the experience for students, families, and our visiting students and guests, while complementing our excellent fields and competition surfaces at:

  • South Fields
  • Baseball Field
  • Track & Field Facility
  • Soccer Field

Construction Planned Fall, 2025; Completion 2026

PHASE III

Phase III – Blackbird Center and Outdoor Teaching Pavilion

To be located west of the south parking lot, will be a versatile 120’ x 164’ facility, supporting everything from indoor team practices to STEAM experiments to archery practices.

The attached 30’ x 30’ Outdoor Teaching Pavilion will provide a dynamic space designed for hands-on learning while serving as a flexible gathering place in an open-air setting.
